Do you have a question?

Check below to see if your question has already been answered, if not then please get in touch below.

When you submit a contact form on the website, we will use the information you give us to try and match you with a psychologist who has experience and skills in working with the difficulties you are experiencing. It is therefore helpful if you can provide enough information to allow us to do this when you initially get in touch. This way, we can try to ensure that the psychologist who completes your initial 15 minute consultation, is the same psychologist that you will be having therapy with if you decide to go ahead.

Our terms and conditions for cancellations and missed sessions are simple.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice or miss your session you will be charged the full session fee. Any charges will need to be paid before you book your next session.

Each 60 minute session costs £120, and this is the same whether the session is an assessment appointment or a weekly therapy appointment. The fee is also the same whether you are having online therapy or face-to-face therapy. If you are self funding your sessions, you can pay via bank transfer (BACS).

Your psychologist will undertake an assessment with you which will include gathering information about your goals. Once the assessment is complete your psychologist will be able to give a suggestion as to how many sessions you will need to achieve these goals.

Get in touch today

A psychologist will then be in touch to arrange a free 15-minute no-obligation call, where we can discuss your requirements in more detail and you can get a feel for whether Turning Tides is the right psychology practice for you.

If we’re not right for you, we’ll try and signpost you to somewhere that is.

Please note – Turning Tides is not a crisis service, and if you feel you need urgent support or are experiencing a mental health crisis then it is important that you contact your GP if they are available, or attend A&E.
